Danish brands now can reach 200,000 European retailers. French Ankorstore has entered the Nordic region and is investing heavily in helping Danish brands expand to Europe.
Stockholm, January 2022 - Most Danish brands have an ambition to reach beyond the country's borders at some point. The challenge is that the need to export and grow often arises before the economy is ready to invest in an actual export function. This is where Ankorstore comes into play with their platform that connects brands and retailers in Europe.
Through Ankorstore, local stores and retailers can offer their customers brands that are not normally offered through e-commerce platforms. They can also buy smaller quantities to test the demand and the payment terms are up to 60 days. Brands on the Ankorstore platform find new dealers, avoid shipping costs already with orders of approx. 300 Euro and will be paid directly on the order day. In addition to this, Ankorstore's digital platform facilitates all administration for both sellers and buyers.
In fact, there are currently 200,000 stores and retailers affiliated with Ankorstore looking for exciting brands. It provides opportunities here and now that most smaller brands can only dream of. At the same time, the Ankorstore platform offers several opportunities to provide better conditions in relation to logistics and delivery, sales and campaigns - and also in relation to how much the individual retailers need to buy for.
“Ankorstore has become an important tool for us. We use it as a really effective sales and promotion tool in addition to the platform providing opportunities for sales and delivery that we cannot offer ourselves. As a sales channel, we receive around Ankorstore in the vicinity of two orders a day. It is really efficient - and easy for both us and our customers,” says Joakim Hill Lærkesen, Area manager at Magni Aps in Roskilde, which develops and produces high-quality toys.
Currently, many retailers and brands are affected by corona, not least economically, where there is a need to find new sources of revenue and to optimize the economy. The ecommerce and platforms like Ankorstore can play a bigger role for many brands and independent stores in their struggle to stay in the market.
At the same time, European consumer trends show greater support for local businesses and greater interest in independent, authentic brands *.
